Rogalski Damaschin communicates for Casiopeea

Starting April, Rogalski Damaschin Public Relation is in charge with communication for the Casiopeea Association, organization which supports the victims of breast cancer. The association holds pink races and marches, with the purpose to raise funds for the purchase and donation of breast prostheses for women who underwent a mastectomy.

The agency will manage the relationship with the leaders of opinion and mass-media, to develop content for digital platforms and offline; the partnership aims at increasing the visibility of the association and the cross, as well as attracting public support for the cause supported by Casiopeea.

Over 16,000 people have taken part in the Casiopeea races, during the past 6 years, and prostheses have been purchased for over 1,500 women who underwent a mastectomy.

Each year, over 8,000 Romanian women are diagnosed with breast cancer and 75% of them end up having a mastectomy. The percentage is on the increase, due to the lack of prevention, as many women find out about the disease too late, when surgery is their only option.

‘The success of a mastectomy is overshadowed by a scar. When looking in the mirror, the women see the scar, not the story behind it, the story of a winner. Our partnership with Rogalski Damaschin stemmed from our desire to help these women regain their self-esteem and femininity. The creative concept and the strategy proposed by the agency convinced us that we have made the right choice and that we are on the right path’, stated Marina Oțelea, President of the Casiopeea Association
